isoSoil started in February 2009 and will run until February 2012. The first year is devoted to gathering of empirical data, knowledge and experience, which will be merged into a theoretical framework in year two. The last year will see the release of the produced guidelines and software, and a field demonstration will be performed.
The isoSoil consortium aims to disseminate information and knowledge continuously for the project duration, including presentations and arranged workshops for interested parties.

The research has received funding from the European Community's Seventh.
Framework Programme FP7/(2009-2012) under grant agreement no 212781.
